Summer Forest Bathing Sessions

Starting on Thursday 23rd July, 6.30–7.30pm at National Trust Arnside Knott.

6 weekly sessions for you to slow down and be with Nature in connection.
Shinrin Yoku, Forest Bathing - and nature connection is a practice that you can bring into your busy hectic life.

Getting into the habit of slowing down and noticing will help your brain to settle down, and a shift of focus to pleasure and beauty, so important with modern lives of tech and stress.

These one hour drop in sessions are supportive if you feel overwhelmed, emotionally up and down, tired, alone, lonely, going through challenging times.
And / or you love nature, and want permission to stop, slow down and be with yourself and the natural world

There is not much walking, very little talking.
Guided practices for you to come into coherence - balance of mind, body, heart.

You may walk out feeling lighter, brighter, relaxed, energised, like you have had a mini-break!

Come to one, or come to all... however the summer allows.

A 2019 study found that spending time in nature reliably lowers cortisol, the body's main stress hormone, with the greatest effect per minute spent happening in the first 20 to 30 minutes.
One hour with us is enough.
