Retreat Terms and Conditions
Version 1: November 2026

These terms apply to every retreat run by Becoming Your True Nature. Each retreat page has its own Retreat Details, which give the dates, price, booking deposit and what is included, and form part of your contract with us. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Delyth Johnson, trading as Becoming Your True Nature, and “you” means the person booking the retreat and anyone you book for. Version 1, November 2026.

1. Who we are and what you are booking
We are Delyth Johnson, a sole trader, trading as Becoming Your True Nature. You can contact us at delyth@delythjohnson.co.uk. When you book, you make a contract with us for the retreat described in the Retreat Details, including everything listed there as included.

2. Booking
You book by paying the booking deposit shown in the Retreat Details and receiving our written confirmation. Please check your confirmation and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

3. Balance
The balance is due by the date in the Retreat Details. If you book less than 8 weeks before arrival, the full price is due when you book. If we have not received the balance by the due date, we will remind you and give you 7 days to pay. After that we may treat your booking as cancelled by you under clause 6.

4. Price
The price is fixed when you book. We may increase it only to reflect changes in exchange rates, taxes or fuel costs that affect our costs, and only if we tell you in writing, with the reason, at least 20 days before arrival. If an increase is more than 8% of the price you may cancel for a full refund. If those costs fall, we pass the reduction on to you.

5. What is included
The Retreat Details list what is included and what is not. Travel to and from the venue, travel insurance and personal spending are yours to arrange and pay for, and are not part of your booking with us unless the Retreat Details say otherwise.

6. Cancelling your place
You may cancel at any time before the retreat by emailing us. If you cancel more than 8 weeks before the retreat begins, we refund everything you have paid except the booking deposit, which is not refundable. If you cancel between 8 and 4 weeks before, no refund is due, but you may move your booking, including your deposit, to another retreat we run within the following 12 months, if there is space. If you cancel less than 4 weeks before, no refund is due and your booking cannot be moved. This scale reflects costs we have committed and cannot recover, and we will explain it on request. Refunds are paid within 14 days. If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances at or near the destination significantly affect the retreat, you may cancel without charge and receive a full refund within 14 days.

7. Passing your place to someone else
Instead of cancelling, you may pass your place to another person who meets the conditions of the retreat, at any time up to 7 days before arrival, if you tell us in writing. The Retreat Details give any admin fee. You and the new guest are both responsible for paying the balance and any extra costs we incur because of the transfer.

8. If we cancel or change the retreat
If fewer than the minimum number of guests are confirmed by the date in the Retreat Details, we may cancel and refund everything you have paid within 14 days. If we cancel for any other reason, we also refund everything you have paid within 14 days. If we need to make a significant change before the retreat, such as the dates, venue or a main feature, we will tell you in writing straight away and you may accept the change or cancel for a full refund. We may adjust minor details, such as the order of sessions or the guide leading one, without notice.

9. Unavoidable circumstances
If we cannot run the retreat because of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, such as natural disaster, war, serious health risk or government restrictions, we refund everything you have paid within 14 days.

10. Insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical care and your belongings. We hold public liability and professional indemnity insurance for our retreats. Our insurance does not cover your own cancellation or illness.

11. Travel and documents
You are responsible for your own travel, passport, visa and entry requirements, and for arriving on time. Sessions you miss through late arrival are not refunded.

12. Emergency details
Before the retreat, please give us your emergency contact and your travel insurance provider, policy number and emergency number. If you need urgent medical care, we will help you get it and contact your insurer and emergency contact.

13. What our retreats are
Our retreats are nature based wellbeing experiences. They are not therapy, and they are not medical or psychological treatment or a substitute for it. We do not diagnose or treat any condition. Nothing we say or do replaces the advice of your doctor or other healthcare professional, and please do not change any medication because of anything you experience on a retreat.

14. Your health and fitness
Before the retreat, tell us in writing about any medical or physical condition, injury, pregnancy, medication or allergy that could affect your safety or that of others, so we can plan well. You must be fit and well enough to take part in the walks, the sauna and the other activities. If you are unsure, ask your doctor first. If you have high or low blood pressure, a heart condition or any other condition that heat or exercise could affect, please get your doctor’s agreement before you book. You decide what you are fit to do and you may stop at any time. Please follow our guidance on safety during sessions. We may ask you to sit out an activity if we reasonably believe it is unsafe for you.

15. Taking part by choice
Every session is an invitation. You may pause or step out of anything without explaining why. If a retreat stirs something difficult, tell us, and we may suggest you speak to a qualified professional. If you are currently working with a therapist or doctor, we recommend you let them know you are attending.

16. The group and conduct
We ask you to treat everyone with respect and to keep what others share in circle private. No illegal substances. If your behaviour puts your safety or wellbeing, or anyone else’s, at risk, we may ask you to leave, and no refund is due for services you do not use.

17. Accommodation and the venue
Shared rooms are shared with another guest. We allocate rooms and will try to meet your requests, but we cannot guarantee them. Please follow the venue’s house rules and care for the space. You are responsible for damage you cause.

18. Food and allergies
The Retreat Details describe the menus. Tell us about dietary needs and allergies at least 4 weeks before arrival and we will pass them to the kitchen. Venue kitchens handle many ingredients, so we cannot promise an allergen free environment. If you have a severe allergy, where even very small traces could cause a serious reaction, tell us in writing before you book. We will tell you honestly whether the venue can keep you safe. If it cannot, we may decline your booking, or you may choose to attend if you confirm in writing that you understand we cannot guarantee your safety. We cannot be responsible for a reaction to an allergy you did not tell us about.

19. Booking for others
If you book for more than one person, you confirm you are authorised to do so and you are responsible for all payments for everyone in your booking.

20. Excursions and extras you arrange
Anything you book yourself, such as treatments, massage or trips, is outside your booking with us. Your agreement for those is with the provider.

21. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for making sure the services in your booking are provided as described, including those provided by the venue and others on our behalf. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or that of the people providing services on our behalf. We cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to your belongings, which you should insure. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights.

22. If something goes wrong
Tell us and the venue at the time so we can put it right. If it is not resolved, write to us within 28 days of the end of the retreat and we will reply within 14 days.

23. Photos and video
We take photos or video for our website and social media only if you agree, and you can withdraw that agreement in writing at any time. We never photograph or record circles or personal sharing.

24. Our materials
Guides, audio and handouts we share with you are owned by us or licensed to us. They are for your personal use and may not be copied or shared.

25. Your personal data
We collect your booking details and any health or dietary information you choose to share, to run your retreat, keep you safe and keep our accounts. We share it only with those who need it to deliver your retreat, such as the venue and payment providers, and where the law requires. We keep and protect your information as set out in our privacy policy: https://www.becomingyourtruenature.com/privacy-policy. You have the right to see, correct and ask us to delete your data. Contact delyth@delythjohnson.co.uk.

26. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.

27. Which version applies
The version of these terms in force on the date you book applies to your booking.

28. If part of these terms cannot be enforced
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

29. Third parties
Only you, the guest, and we, Becoming Your True Nature, can enforce these terms. No one else has rights under them.
